Dive into the adventure like a true explorer. In the exhibition Land Unknown, children and adults can test their skills against the riddles of the expedition.
Take your family on an expedition and follow in the footsteps of Carsten Niebuhr through the game ‘The Key to the Unknown’. Do you have what it takes to solve the mysteries of the past?
Along the way, tasks and mysteries from the expedition await. Decode hieroglyphs, measure a pyramid with Niebuhr’s instruments, find a hidden autograph in Persepolis, and discover how the expedition’s finds were examined and preserved.
Inside a chest from the journey, a djinn is hidden – an ancient spirit that has waited for centuries to be released. Only by cracking the riddles of the expedition can it be set free.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Complete the stops you like and release the djinn at the final station. Please return the key inside the exhibition before you leave.
Recommended age: The game can be played at two different levels: one for teens and one for children from approx. 8 years old (along with their adventurous grown-ups).
