Look forward to 2027 – when we’ll bring back Greenlandic Winter Holiday! When storms rage and snow blankets the city in white, people in Greenland gather indoors to share stories and compete in traditional athletic challenges – the Inuit games.
During the winter holiday, we invite the whole family on a journey to Greenland. Try nine different challenges and discover whether you are as strong as a snow hare, a seal or a musk ox. Hop across ice floes, kayak through Nuuk Fjord using VR goggles, and learn Greenlandic with our new language machine. Daily from 7–14 February, 11:00–15:30.

Amulets and tupilaks in the creative workshop
In the workshop, you can make Greenlandic amulets from sealskin or shape your own tupilaks in clay. Younger children can play on the Greenlandic sled covered in skins, while older children and adults immerse themselves in creative activities and learn how amulets were used to protect against evil spirits.
